About Me
Hi, I’m Nichelle. I am passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space for children, teens, and adults to heal from the impact of trauma. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and collaboration. I believe that every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and reclaim their sense of self, and I’m honored to walk alongside my clients in that process.
Education and Experience
I am currently working on my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With over 10 years of professional experience working with children, my background is firmly rooted in creating nurturing, developmentally appropriate environments where young clients feel seen, safe, and supported.
How We Will Work Together
Our work together will be collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, such as trauma-informed therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and mindfulness practices, to help you process your experiences and move forward in your healing journey. I will always meet you where you are, at your pace, and provide tools and strategies that can support you both in and outside of sessions.
Why Me?
Choosing a therapist is an important and personal decision. Clients often describe me as approachable, warm, and deeply empathetic. My commitment is not only to help you heal from the wounds of the past but also to empower you with the resilience and self-compassion needed to thrive in the future. I am dedicated to making therapy a safe place where your voice is heard, your story is honored, and your healing is prioritized.
